Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.
This couldn't be truer considering now is the time that effects our future the most. With the majority of teens thinking they can get away with whatever they want it comes to my attention that trouble is the only way to teach this valuable lesson. This doesn't really affect my thoughts on this idea because it could be targeted to a specific group of people. I think this could effect some people who need guidance but others that have their mind set on the future should be OK. I don't agree that children are more spoiled then ever and that they could work but with today's society their's no logical explanation to got by these guidelines.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?A PSA is an announcement (sometimes a commercial) that gives out information on a topic that needs to be known publicly. It could be a problem like homes for sheltered animals or guns are violent ban them now. They are used to give the public a good idea on what is really happening or to make you think about what you have just watched. In 8th grade the whole grade made two PSA for different classrooms so we have seen many different accounts also just commercials through television over resources or animal abuse.

After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."

The things that influence our choices and guide us through our days was made up by someone no smarter than us. Through ideas and creativity the most successful devices we created to help aid the world through nothing more than a garage. With many inventions; some to good use some to shame, the accomplishment comes up from mistakes that were created by an everyday person. My mom's godson came up with an idea simple but useful called clusterflunk. Over an idea him and his friends had in high school they developed the product then patented it. Over the course of a few years he sells the product to be used by major colleges like ISU and many others. Within this time he had created a tool to be used by college students from all over and the thought was created through ordinary people in the middle of Iowa.
